The crash happened just before 8:00 p.m. when a pickup truck driven by Amanda Merriman, 50, of Victoria, collided head-on with Antoniuk's car. Merriman was driving east in the westbound lanes of Highway 212 near Valley View Road when the crash occurred. Antoniuk was pronounced dead at the scene.
