Chelsea Miller Killed in Perry Township Car Accident
The two-vehicle collision occurred near mile post 11 in Columbiana County
Chelsea Miller, 35, of Lisbon, was killed in a head-on car accident on State Route 173 in Perry Township, Columbiana County, Ohio, on Tuesday, April 14, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Emergency crews from multiple agencies, including fire departments from Perry Township, Damascus, and Salem, responded to the scene near mile marker 11 at approximately 2:40 p.m. Investigators determined a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee crossed the center line and struck a 2013 Nissan Rogue.
Paramedics transported the driver of the Nissan to Salem Regional Medical Center, where she died from her injuries. The driver of the Jeep, a 78-year-old Salem woman, was taken to a different hospital with serious injuries.
Both lanes of the highway were temporarily shut down while crews responded. The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been announced.
