A minor was injured and taken to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas, police say.

Cynthia Rowe, 69, of Mulberry, died in a head-on car accident on Arkansas 309 near Paris on April 5, according to the Arkansas State Police. Her 2020 GMC Terrain crossed into the northbound lane in the 2700 block of Arkansas 309. The vehicle collided head-on with a 2018 GMC Sierra, injuring the driver. The driver of the Sierra was listed as a minor in the crash report. The minor was taken to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. Authorities have not released the minor's identity. The Arkansas State Police said the road was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.
