David Lynn Edwardson, 41, of Galesburg, was killed in a pedestrian-train collision on the 800 block of Peck Street in Galesburg, Illinois, on Thursday, according to police.
paramedics arrived at the scene just before 2 p.m. to find the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Knox County Coroner's Office scheduled an autopsy for Friday.
