Fulton man killed in Callaway County truck accident, MSHP says

A 91-year-old Fulton man died following a commercial vehicle crash on Highway 54 in Callaway County on Wednesday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2008 Ford Fusion collided with a southbound semi grain truck at County Road 2002 around 11:55 a.m. The crash caused the car to overturn and the truck's trailer to spill its load of grain across the highway.
Emergency responders transported the driver of the Ford to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 1 p.m. His passenger, a 67-year-old Auxvasse man, was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The incident shut down the highway while crews worked to clear the scene. Troopers continue to investigate the collision.
