Huner Clay Miller, 24, of Hermiston, was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Interstate 84 near Hood River, Oregon, early Sunday, according to the State Police.​‍​‌‌​‌​​‍‍‍‍‍‍​‌‌​‌‌​​‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍​​‍‌​​​​​​‍‍‍‍‌​​​‍​‌‌​‌​​‍‍‍‍‍‍​‌‌​‌‌​​‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍​​‍‌​​​​​​‍‍‍‍‌​​​‍​‌‌​‌​​‍‍‍‍‍‍​‌‌​‌‌​​‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍​​‍‌​​​​​​‍‍‍‍‌​​

Investigators are searching for the driver of a westbound vehicle that fled the scene. Troopers responded to the area near milepost 66 at approximately 5:58 a.m.

Miller was walking in the travel lane when he was struck. The 24-year-old died at the scene.

Authorities located a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle several miles east of the crash, though it is unknown if it is associated with Miller.

The investigation into the hit-and-run crash that killed Miller on Interstate 84 continues as authorities work to identify the driver who fled the scene.
