The Phoenix Police Department said 43-year-old Jason David Irons-Raiter suffered fatal injuries in a collision on Southern Avenue near 27th Avenue at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday. Irons-Raiter was riding his motorcycle west on Southern Avenue when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle, according to police. The other driver failed to yield while turning left into a private driveway, causing the impact, police said. Paramedics responded to the scene, but Irons-Raiter died from his injuries.
