The bicyclist was struck head-on by a 2014 black Chevrolet Sonic, throwing him into the air. The driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle with extensive damage to the front driver's side panel and windshield.
Ryan was riding his bicycle to work when the collision occurred. He was pronounced dead following the impact.
