Sunshine Jones Involved in Quinton Car Accident

Fatal crash in Quinton, New Jersey
Sunshine H. Jones, 28, of Quinton Township, died Sunday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Salem County, police said. Jones was killed when her car crossed the center line on Route 647 / Telegraph Road in Quinton.
Jones was driving north shortly before 4 p.m. when her vehicle hit the side of a southbound car, then collided with an SUV, police said.
A passenger in Jones' car was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries. The driver and a passenger in the SUV suffered minor injuries and were also taken to a hospital, according to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
The crash involving Sunshine Jones and two other vehicles is under investigation by the New Jersey State Police. Understanding the dynamics of such collisions is important for determining liability and ensuring justice for those injured.
National Legal Analyst Andrew G. Andrew Finkelstein, Attorney at Jacoby & Meyers, noted that "The thing about high-speed collisions that keeps me up at night is the sheer force of momentum transfer. Investigators use math to prove how cars stick together or bounce apart, which isn't always obvious from the wreckage."
What do investigators look for in a multi-vehicle collision like this?
How will the passenger's injuries be addressed?
It is vital that injured parties seek medical attention and document all injuries and expenses. Waiting too long can complicate a claim for compensation.
New Jersey personal injury framework
New Jersey follows a modified comparative fault (51% bar) system with a no-fault PIP auto insurance framework. The statute of limitations is 2 years.
Under New Jersey's no-fault system, PIP benefits cover medical expenses. To pursue a liability claim against an at-fault driver, injuries generally must meet the 'verbal threshold' of serious injury unless the policyholder elected the 'no limitation on lawsuit' option.
