Wendy Grove Killed in Lexington Township Truck Accident
The 47-year-old Pennsylvania woman died after her vehicle collided with a semi-truck on state Route 225
Wendy Grove, 47, of Baden, Pennsylvania, was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck in the 13100 block of state Route 225 in Lexington Township, Ohio, on Monday, according to the Stark County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 12:32 p.m. after the semi-truck and a passenger car collided.
Emergency crews treated both people inside the car at the scene. Grove, who was driving the car, was pronounced dead. A passenger in the car suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital.
The driver of the semi-truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.
The Canton Metro Crash Team is assisting with the ongoing investigation. Authorities have not released the cause of the collision.
