Bethany George, 37, of Moscow, was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 38 near 155th Street in Muscatine County, Iowa, on Monday, April 13.

The Iowa State Patrol reported an eastbound 2020 Nissan Pathfinder failed to stop at a posted sign. The SUV entered the intersection and struck a northbound 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Paramedics transported George and a 27-year-old to Trinity Muscatine for treatment. A medical helicopter airlifted the 58-year-old driver of the Hyundai to the University of Iowa.

The driver of the Nissan was not injured.

Multiple agencies, including the Muscatine County Sheriff's Office and Wilton Fire Department, assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been announced.
