Three-vehicle collision at Rider Street and Old Elsinore Road leaves one dead, two injured
Christopher Osorio, 23, of Perris, was killed in a three-vehicle wreck at Rider Street and Old Elsinore Road in Mead Valley on Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Troopers are working to determine the sequence of events that left a white car severely smashed in the rear. No charges have been filed. Arriving firefighters found three people needing medical attention. One patient suffered critical injuries. Another suffered minor injuries.
Osorio was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency crews closed the intersection for several hours while investigators processed the scene and cleared the wreckage.
