Marguerite Charvat Killed in Montville Car Accident
The head-on collision occurred on Wadsworth Road when a southbound vehicle crossed the center line
Marguerite Charvat, 60, of Medina, was killed in a head-on crash on Wadsworth Road in Montville, Ohio, on Sunday, according to the Montville Police Department.
A southbound silver 2025 Toyota Corolla crossed the center line and struck a northbound gray 2023 Ford Escape head-on at approximately 5:02 p.m. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the impact. Charvat, who was driving the Ford, was taken to Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, where she later died.
The 28-year-old woman driving the Toyota suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
No charges have been filed.
The crash remains under investigation. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the state recorded 1,156 traffic death in 2024.
