36-year-old driver arrested on suspicion of DUII following deadly Crook County incident
Monte Scott Greene, 57, of Prineville, was killed in a bicycle collision on Highway 380 near Southeast 5th Street in Prineville, Oregon, on April 24, according to the State Police.
Investigators arrested 36-year-old Abigail Marie Hedges on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants after she struck the cyclist with her white Ford Expedition.
The southbound SUV hit the rider just before 11 p.m. near milepost 0.60 on Combs Flat Road.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hedges was not injured and was taken into custody. The highway was closed for about four hours while authorities investigated the scene.
