The two cars collided shortly after 3:30 p.m. where Forbestown Road meets Black Bart Road. The California Highway Patrol confirmed that one person died. A second person received minor injuries. A medical helicopter was sent to the scene, and the entire roadway was closed while emergency crews worked.
