The fatal collision occurred Friday night in the 2900 block of Del Paso Road in Natomas.

An adult male bicyclist was killed in a collision in the 2900 block of Del Paso Road in Sacramento on Friday, April 17, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

The crash occurred just before 8 p.m. The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. The bicyclist's identity will be released pending notification of his family, and the collision remains under investigation.
