David Nava Killed in San Jacinto County Car Crash
The 24-year-old Conroe man died following a three-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 59
David Nava, 24, of Conroe, was killed in a three-vehicle car accident on U.S. Highway 59 near Farm-to-Market Road 223 in San Jacinto County, Texas, on Sunday, March 29, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
A southbound Nissan Sentra traveling in the northbound lanes collided head-on with an oncoming Chevrolet Camaro at approximately 10:29 p.m., investigators reported. A Hyundai Venue then struck the rear of the Camaro.
Medical personnel transported Nava, who was driving the Nissan, to St. Luke’s Memorial Houston, where he was pronounced dead. The 36-year-old driver of the Camaro suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to HCA Conroe.
Two people in the Hyundai were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Luke’s Memorial Houston. The crash remains under investigation.
