Mark Floryan Killed in Granby Motorcycle Accident
The 69-year-old Tariffville resident died after a two-vehicle collision at Route 189 and Peck Orchard Road
Mark Floryan, 69, of Tariffville, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 189 near Peck Orchard Road in Granby, Connecticut, on Sunday, according to the Granby Police Department.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. when the bike and a passenger vehicle collided in the intersection. The 50-year-old driver of the second vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene to speak with investigators.
Rescuers found Floryan with severe injuries. He was airlifted by LifeStar to Hartford Hospital, where he later died.
The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad is investigating the crash. No charges have been filed.
