Morgan Svensson Killed in Seminole Motorcycle Accident

Morgan Svensson, 45, of Largo, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Seminole Boulevard near 53rd Avenue North in Seminole, Florida, on Thursday, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
The northbound 2025 Tesla Model 3 entered a left-turn lane and crossed into the path of the oncoming 2006 Honda motorcycle. The resulting T-bone collision ejected the rider from the bike. Paramedics took the rider, Svensson, to HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Tesla driver was not injured and remained at the scene.
No charges have been filed. Investigators noted that speed appears to have been a factor in the crash, though the exact sequence of events remains under review by the Major Accident Investigation Team.
According to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, the state recorded 621 motorcycle fatalities in 2023.
