A pedestrian was critically hurt in a White Castle parking lot off 8 Mile near Sherwood on Wednesday night.

What Happened at the 8 Mile White Castle
Police sources said the crash took place at about 9:30 p.m. near Sherwood. The pedestrian was walking through the parking lot when a car struck the person. Police sources said the car ran over the person's head and body, and the driver left the scene. The injured person was reported to be in critical condition. The person has not been named.
Where the Police Search Stands
Police were at the scene investigating. Police sources said officers are searching for a Chrysler 300 tied to the incident. No charges have been announced, and the driver has not been identified.
