Pierce County Sheriff's Office investigating deadly two-vehicle collision on State Road 35

Tamitha Thein, 47, of Maplewood, was killed in a motorcycle accident on State Road 35 near 1050th Street in Oak Grove Township, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.​​​‌​‍​‍‌‍‍‍​​‌​‌​‍​​‍‌‍‌​‍‌‌​‌‍‌‌‌‍​‍​​‌‍​​

The northbound vehicle collided with a southbound motorcycle around 6:15 p.m. Both drivers suffered critical injuries in the crash, investigators said.

Paramedics took both drivers to Regions Hospital. Thein was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The 26-year-old motorcyclist died the following day.

The crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not released further details regarding what led to the collision.
