What Happened at Canton Road and Closner
First responders were called to the intersection shortly after 7 p.m. One person was taken to a hospital. The city of Edinburg said that person had "possible serious injuries." The city has not said whether another vehicle was involved. The person who was hurt has not been named.
Edinburg Road Closure and Next Steps
The intersection was closed until further notice, and traffic was being diverted around it. Drivers were asked to avoid the area. No charges have been reported. Details about the investigation have not been released.
