At Least 1 Killed in Bernalillo County Car Accident
A deadly collision shut every approach to a South Valley intersection in the early hours of Sunday.
At least one person was killed in a car crash on Bridge Boulevard Southwest in Bernalillo County on November 1, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office.
The Bridge Boulevard Crash and Closure
The sheriff's office said traffic was shut down in every direction where Bridge Boulevard Southwest meets Artisco Drive Southwest in South Valley. The closure was reported at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. The crash was deadly, but the number of people who died has not been released. No names have been made public.
What Is Still Unknown After the Crash
The sheriff's office has not released the cause of the crash. No information has been reported on charges or on when the intersection reopened. Officials have not said which vehicles or how many people were involved.
Investigators often ask nearby homes and businesses for camera video soon after a crash. Many systems record over old footage after a few days or weeks, so they move fast.
