Driver Injured in Placer County Truck Accident
The collision happened late Tuesday morning at West Wise Road and Gladding Road, north of Lincoln.

What Happened on West Wise Road
The California Highway Patrol said it responded to the crash at about 10:45 a.m. Officers arrived to find a Chevrolet 2500 flatbed truck and a Toyota Camry involved in what the agency called a serious crash. The agency said the Toyota and the flatbed, which was carrying a load of hay bales, collided, and the flatbed then rolled onto its side and left bales scattered across the road. The driver of the Toyota was taken to a hospital with major injuries, and no deaths were reported.
Where the Road Closure and Review Stand
West Wise Road was closed while officials cleared the scene, and the California Highway Patrol asked drivers to avoid the area. The agency has not said when the road will reopen. No charges have been announced, and the names of the drivers have not been released.
