Shyquinn Dix Killed in Stamford Car Accident

Shyquinn Dix, 32, of Stamford, was killed in an Interstate 95 crash in Stamford, Connecticut, in the early hours of last Sunday, in the southbound lanes near Exit 7. Dix was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Jawora Davidson, 37, of Bridgeport.
Police said Jawora Davidson showed signs of being intoxicated. After failing field sobriety tests, Davidson was charged with DUI and failure to maintain a proper lane. Davidson is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to reappear in state Superior Court in Stamford on May 12.
The other involved driver sustained minor injuries. Dix was taken to Stamford Hospital but was later pronounced dead. The incident was a head-on collision.
