3 Injured in Palm Springs Car Accident
Three people may have been hurt when a gray Toyota Camry and a red vehicle collided Wednesday afternoon at North Gene Autry Trail and Salvia Road, police said.

What Happened at Gene Autry Trail and Salvia
The first reports of the crash came in shortly before 3:10 p.m. from the corner of North Gene Autry Trail and Salvia Road. Police said early information pointed to a gray Toyota Camry and a red vehicle as the two involved. Medical crews were called after at least one occupant complained of chest pain. Police said officers who arrived found three people who may have been hurt. Emergency crews checked each of them and gave medical help.
Palm Springs Police Traffic Unit Investigating
The crash is being looked into by the Traffic Unit of the Palm Springs Police Department. Police said the cause has not yet been determined. No charges have been announced, and the names of those involved have not been released.
Roads are often closed for hours after a serious crash so investigators can measure and photograph the scene before anything is moved.
