1 Injured in Walla Walla County Car Accident
One person was flown to a hospital after a head-on crash closed Highway 12 near Oasis Road in Walla Walla County.

The Head-On Crash Near Oasis Road
The collision happened on Highway 12 near Oasis Road, to the west of Touchet Road. A trooper said one person was flown to a hospital by Life Flight. The crash fully blocked the highway, and the condition of the injured person has not been released.
What Troopers Said About the Highway 12 Closure
The trooper said eastbound traffic was being diverted at the Wallula Junction. Westbound traffic had no detour option. Troopers gave no estimate of when Highway 12 would reopen. No charges have been announced, and the Washington State Patrol has not said what led to the crash.
