How the Highway 360 Pile-Up Unfolded
Officers were called to northbound Highway 360, just north of I-30, at about 5:35 p.m. Police said six vehicles were involved, and five of them remained at the scene. Police said witnesses reported that an unidentified car struck both an 18-wheeler and a 2023 Ford Escape before the car's driver left. Police said the Escape went on to strike a 2022 Toyota CHR, and the CHR struck a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq, which then hit a 2025 Tesla Model Y. Police said a passenger in the CHR was taken to a local hospital, and no one else suffered serious injuries.
Where the Arlington Police Investigation Stands
The Arlington Police Department said no arrests have been made. The investigation is still ongoing. Police have not released a description of the unidentified car.
Hit-and-run investigations can stay open for months. Some are solved long after the crash, when a new tip or piece of video comes in.

Your vehicle. Tow yards usually charge for every day a towed vehicle sits there.
Crash report. The crash report is usually ready a few weeks after the crash, and you can still get it later.
Hospital bills. Most hospitals have a program that cuts bills for people with low income, and you can apply months after the first bill.
