An FDNY spokesperson could not immediately say which hospitals received the two people or what their conditions were. The names of those hurt have not been released. No details have been made public about any charges.
Which agency investigates often depends on where the crash happened. Highway crashes are often handled by state police or highway patrol, and crashes on city streets by local officers.

Crash report. The crash report is usually ready a few weeks after the crash, and you can still get it later.
Hospital bills. Most hospitals have a program that cuts bills for people with low income, and you can apply months after the first bill.
