Pedestrian Injured in Excelsior Accident
The crash happened Monday evening at Excelsior Boulevard and Mill Street, and one person was taken to a hospital with head trauma.
Candice BondA pedestrian was injured in a crash at the intersection of Excelsior Boulevard and Mill Street in Excelsior on Monday, according to the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department.
What Happened at Excelsior Boulevard and Mill Street
Officers were called to the crash at about 6:45 p.m. near downtown Excelsior. A person with head trauma was found and taken to a hospital. Police have not shared an update on the person's condition. The pedestrian has not been named.
Where the Excelsior Investigation Stands
The South Lake Minnetonka Police Department described the case as an open and active investigation and said it will not release more information for now. The driver did not leave and has been helping the Minnesota State Patrol as it looks into the crash. No charges have been announced.
