A 49-year-old Pullman man was killed in a pedestrian crash at the intersection of N Grand Avenue and NW Ritchie Street in Pullman on November 2, according to the Pullman Police Department.
The Monday Evening Crash on N Grand Avenue
Police said officers were sent out at about 6:13 p.m. Monday after a report that a car had hit a pedestrian. Officers found the man with serious injuries. Firefighters from the Pullman Fire Department provided lifesaving measures and drove him to Pullman Regional Hospital. Police said he died there later.
Where the Pullman Police Investigation Stands
Investigators with the Pullman Police Department are still looking into the crash. The man's name has not been released while the Whitman County Coroner's Office handles death notifications to his family. Police have not announced any charges.
Police usually wait to release the names of the people involved until their families have been told. That is why names often come out a day or more later.

Crash report. The crash report is usually ready a few weeks after the crash, and you can still get it later.
Funeral costs. Every state has a victim fund that pays funeral costs after some crashes, and the fund decides who qualifies.
